How did the Magic Ball on Americas Best Dance Crew Work (ABDC)?

I want to know how the Magic Ball worked in Beat Freaks routine lastnight. I dont want any guesses i want some proof. I've heard remote control, strings, and preprogrammed routine, but i want to know. That really blew my mind, thanks.

it was not strings nor was it remote controlled. its is something called a kinetic sphere. it weighs about 2.7 ounces which is why it looked as light as it did when the girls tossed it and passed it. it can fly up to 6 feet just like it did with the beat freaks! here check it out! http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php...
