How much would it cost to have Gas Fire Fitted ?

I have just brought a brand new Wall fire that fits on the wall , How much would it cost me to get Corgi Registered Gas fitter to fit it ?

The most significant factor in terms of cost is the distance from the gas meter and how difficult it is to connect to it. For example if the house has a solid floor and the meter is on the other side of the house you will probably have to run the pipe externally which is not ideal. The other thing you have to bear in mind is the flue. Most modern gas appliances can be attached to a fan assisted flue which must be protected by a flue guard if it's less than 2m above the ground. On the other hand if there is a fireplace/chimney breast you can use this but you need to make sure that the flue is properly lined and that there is a flue terminal at the top - not just a chimney pot.
